DIY Solar Panel Off Grid space

Three solar panels on Macgyver stand

Powering the Off-Grid Garage

We used to run fairly limited power in the garage. This simple setup supports recharging batteries for power tools and power wheels. We have since moved to a larger system but this works pretty well anywhere that we need to setup a small power source.

The shed goes off grid with SOLAR!

I temporary set up a small solar system in our shed / Garage so we can have renewable energy! :) Using 2 of our 90 watt panels to get power into our off grid garage using a Epever Tracer 40A  MPPT Charge controller. I have (8) 12V 100Ah batteries presenting running a very small 600 watt pure sine wave inverter.

We upgraded our off grid solar system with a DIY solar rack

I built a new solar panel rack out of wood to hold 3 of our 90 watt panels to get power into our off grid garage using a Epever Tracer 40A  MPPT Charge controller. I have (8) 12V 100Ah batteries presenting running a very small 600 watt pure sine wave inverter.
